Returning to Lemonsjøen
A week spent in a beautiful cabin at Lemonsjøen, with a view towards Heidalsmuen — the highest mountain in Heidal at 1,745 metres. Other nearby peaks include Ruten, 1,517 metres, between Espedalen and Gudbrandsdalen; Besshøe, 2,258 metres, with the small lake Øvre Leirungen in the foreground; and the Kalvehøgde ridge, around 2,208 metres, bordering Leirungstjønnin. I enjoy photographing mountains that stretch upwards and sometimes seem to touch the sky — majestic subjects.
