Early July moments
The camera follows me almost everywhere, so I can capture moments from everyday life. I had been aware of the frame for the first image for a while — what caught my attention was the morning sun backlighting the trees against the shadows. That morning the cows completed the picture, and the crops were a beautiful silky yellow in the foreground beneath the blue sky.
I had observed the osprey earlier in the day but was unable to capture it. It suddenly came into view, flying towards my position after a successful hunt. I managed a few photos at long distance with my 70–200mm f/2.8, heavily cropped and enhanced, so the quality isn’t the best.
