Born and raised in the eastern parts of Oslo, I left in 1982 and only returned for short visits. Exploring Oslo now with a camera in hand, I discover new areas and aspects I had never seen before. Akerselva, from the Opera House up to its source at Maridalsvannet, offers a diverse perspective on the city. The photographs of Akerselva in my portfolio are mainly in monochrome to capture the industrial perspectives I find most compelling.
