Winter days in Røros

I spent a couple of days in Røros to try to capture some of the essence of the town during the cold winter (−15 to −30 degrees Celsius). Røros is an old wooden town and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and to me there is no place that represents winter better. In spite of the freezing temperatures, the town has a warm, soft glow to it.

Doors and windows — I decided long ago I wouldn't bother photographing doors and windows, yet here I am, drawn to the spectacular doors and frosty windows in Røros..
