Sogndal and Hemsedal
On my way back I travelled through Sogndal, Lærdal and onward to Hemsedal. I spent the night in Sogndal, then drove to Lærdal and made a short stop in the old town — well worth a visit. I followed the historic routes where possible, which led me to stunning places along the rivers at the valley bottoms and over the mountains. At Hemsedal Flatbrødbakeri I stopped for a good lunch and was confronted with the photographs of Kristin Devor — beautiful pieces of art. Hemsedal is definitely a place to revisit for a longer stay — beautiful landscape.
